Early Life
Saint Triveni Das Ji, a revered prophet in the village, foretold that the couple would have a son with celestial qualities. The prophecy stated that the son would stay with them for 23 years before embarking on the true path for which he was sent to Earth.
Saint MSG Insan completed high school in his village, excelling in Non-Medical Studies. He actively participated in traditional sports like Kabaddi and Rasa Kashi, as well as modern sports such as Volleyball, badminton, and lawn tennis. Cricket was his favorite, and he served as the team captain. He was consistently achieving top positions in academics, sports, and cultural events.
By the age of seven, He started helping his father in the agricultural works, moving on to take over the job entirely. His talents were on display from early on, and his skillset had perplexed the nearby villagers. He never practiced any ill-deed, and always strived to imbibe as many positive traits as he could.
Spiritual Life
Since his childhood, He had a keen interest in spirituality. He followed the teachings of Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj, the then master of Dera Sacha Sauda, and practiced the method of meditation. He started making time for social welfare and altruistic deeds. His sincerity and selflessness stood apart from his peers, and his faith in Almighty was unshaken. He learnt the method of meditation from Param Pita Ji around the age of 4-5. Even at that young age, his urge for charity and helping others was not hidden.
As he grew older, he motivated his friends and others to join him in helping others. He used to visit the ashram frequently to attend the sermons and serve those in need.
Becoming MSG
On the auspicious 23rd of September 1990, Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj held a magnificent Satsang in which he announced Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan (Saint MSG Insan) as his divine successor, making Him the third master of Dera Sacha Sauda.
During the ceremony, Param Pita Satnam Shah Ji Maharaj garlanded Guru Ji and made him sit on the stage with him, transferring the authority of Dera Sacha Sauda to Saint MSG Insan.
“Only those who love him will love us; whoever he obeys will also obey us, and those who discriminate against him will discriminate against us.” He went on to say His famous words – “Hum they, Hum hain, Hum hi rahenge” which stands for “We were, We are, We will remain” Thus, all three masters of Dera Sacha Sauda are spiritually the same entity. This led to his title of MSG, which are the initials of the 3 masters.

As the master of Dera Sacha Sauda, Saint MSG took on to spread the knowledge of meditation in every way possible. He went from one place to another, and people would gather to attend his holy sermons. He composed and sang songs promoting a positive lifestyle, and even produced movies to attract the modern youth towards this boring but important aspect of life.
He continues the legacy of Dera Sacha Sauda and teaches the way of meditation, to all types of people, free of any cost. He inspires selfless love for others, and ignites a spirit of altruism in his devotees. He has transformed many homes by aiding with drug and alcohol de-addiction. Under his guidance, Dera Sacha Sauda has managed to contribute to humanity, to an extent that now world records are being set and broken in domains of tree plantation, blood donation, etc. The list of all welfare works is huge and can be found on the website.
Those who have benefitted from his blessing tell their stories with awe. Over 65 Million people stand witness to the benefits of meditation and de-addiction. His devotees see him as a father, and fondly call him ‘Pitaji’ (which is Hindi for ‘Father’). His family includes people from all religions, all races and all castes; there is absolutely no discrimination on any grounds.
